Merri F. James, MCM, is an experienced Marketing Communications Manager with a strong background in the insurance industry. Since August 2000, Merri has held the position at Companion Life Insurance Company and has been concurrently managing marketing communications at Niagara Life and Health Insurance Company since January 2008, as well as at Companion Life Insurance Company of California starting in January 2015. Prior to these roles, Merri served as the Manager of Marketing and Planning Services at MedCorp from July 1997 to July 2000. Merri holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism/Mass Communications with a focus on Advertising & Public Relations from the University of South Carolina, graduating Cum Laude.
