Alejandro Gil Aguirre currently serves as Jefe de Compras y Fomento Agrícola at Compañía Nacional de Chocolates S.A.S, a position held since August 2022. Prior to this role, Alejandro worked at Penn State University from August 2017 to August 2022 as a Research Assistant and held multiple Teaching Assistant positions under various professors. Alejandro's early experience at Compañía Nacional de Chocolates S.A.S from 2013 to August 2017 included roles as Investigador, Analista, and Practicante. Alejandro's academic background includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Education, Development and Community Engagement, as well as two Master of Science degrees in Agricultural and Extension Education and International Development from Penn State University. Additionally, Alejandro completed bachelor's degrees in Agronomy and Crop Science and Agronomist Engineering at Universidad Nacional de Colombia.
