Marc Lainez is a seasoned entrepreneur and educator with extensive experience in software development and innovation. As Co-Founder of Commuty, Marc has been instrumental in promoting sustainable transportation solutions for companies since July 2014. In parallel, Marc co-founded Spin42 in September 2013, focusing on transforming ideas into impactful software products. Marc served as Chief Strategy Officer at Isabel Group from September 2017 to December 2023, overseeing strategic alignment and other key initiatives. Previously, Marc was CEO of Ibanity, a startup acquired by Isabel Group, which specializes in bank aggregation APIs. Additionally, Marc has contributed to innovation programs for various organizations, including GSK and BNP Paribas Fortis, and has been an invited professor at Université catholique de Louvain since November 2014, leading projects in software engineering. Marc holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from Université catholique de Louvain, completed in 2007.
