Judy Crates

Judy Crates was a teacher and school administrator for over 40 years, finishing her career at the Mountain View Whisman School District, where she held positions as principal in several schools as well as Director of English Language Development and Continuous Improvement.

Judy received her BA from St. Mary’s College, then two MAs in Spanish Language and Literature and Education Administration from University of Notre Dame and San Jose State, respectively. She earned her Ed.D at University of Southern California. Although she is officially retired, Judy serves on local boards and works with area nonprofits in family engagement in schools, as well as serving as Director of E-Cubed (E3) Youth Philanthropy Program at Los Altos Community Foundation, and as part-time faculty at Foothill Community College.
