CLI strives to provide an individualized, quality continuum of services to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We ensure the people we serve have equitable access to the same opportunities as does the community at large, and we do so in a fiscally and responsible manner.

With the recent transition of Michael Planz into the Executive Director role, the agency has had just five executive directors since its inception. We currently have more than 240 dedicated and hardworking staff serving the needs of Community Living's more than 150 individuals. Our daily operations are sustained by funding from the Developmental Disabilities Administration and the Department of Housing and Urban Development, but we also receive support from volunteers, individual fees, grants, fundraisers and private donations in order to maintain high standards for our the people we serve.

The Health Services Team at Community Living, Inc. (Frederick) is responsible for ensuring the comprehensive health and wellness of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This dedicated team, which includes Licensed Practical Nurses, a Health Services Assistant, a Health Services Director, and a Registered Nurse, provides medical care, develops personalized health plans, manages medications, and coordinates with external healthcare professionals to maintain optimal health outcomes for the people we serve.
