Chi-Ser Tran is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in public interest law, currently serving as Supervising Attorney for the SSI Unit at Community Legal Services since September 2016. Prior roles include Staff Attorney for both the Language Access Project and the SSI Unit at the same organization, as well as an Initiative for Public Interest Law Fellow in the Employment Unit. Earlier legal internships were completed at various organizations, including the Temple Legal Aid Office, Nationalities Service Center, and the U.S. Department of Labor. Chi-Ser Tran's career began as a Voting Rights Organizer at the Asian American Legal Defense and Education Fund and encompasses a range of roles in legal education and advocacy. Chi-Ser Tran holds a Doctor of Law (JD) from Temple University - James E. Beasley School of Law and a BA in Asian/Pacific/American Studies from New York University.
