Annie Darden has extensive experience in education and advocacy, currently serving as an English Teacher at James H. Groves/SVT Campus since November 2016, following a 2.5-year tenure as a Job Coach at Community Integrated Services, where Annie assists students with cognitive impairments in transitioning to the workplace. Annie also holds a part-time position with Community Integrated Services since May 2015. Prior to these roles, Annie worked as an Independent Business Representative from October 2012 to March 2015, promoting marketing concepts and customer relations. With a background as a Master Teacher for the State of Maryland and Delaware from 1973 to 2011 and experience as an Independent Sales Representative for Nesbitt Associates, their educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Instruction in English, Speech, and Education from the University of Delaware and additional graduate coursework at Loyola College in Baltimore.
