Hector Ortiz, MHA RSS, is a dedicated mental health professional with extensive experience in crisis intervention, case management, and community outreach. Currently serving as a BA Crisis Counselor at the Center for Human Development and an Outreach Ambassador for the Connecticut Harm Reduction Alliance, Hector specializes in providing support to individuals facing mental health and substance use challenges. Past roles include Housing Case Manager at Community Health Resources, Residential Counselor and Recovery Support Specialist at Hartford HealthCare, and Community Support Specialist at Hartford Hospital, among others. Hector holds a Master of Health Administration from the University of Phoenix and is pursuing a Master of Social Work at Capella University, along with a strong background in urban and community studies. Additionally, Hector serves on the Board of Corporators for the iQuilt Partnership, contributing expertise to urban planning initiatives in Hartford.
