Marissa Bayerl is a experienced Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with a robust background in mental health care. Currently, Marissa holds positions at Nutmeg Wellness and Community Health Center since October 2021 and September 2022, respectively. Previous roles include working as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner at Fair Haven Community Health Center from August 2016 to January 2023, and serving as a Clinical Research Nurse at Yale School of Medicine from October 2014 to July 2016. Marissa has completed multiple internships in various mental health settings, including child and adolescent psychiatry and adult dual-diagnosis care. Marissa earned a Master of Science in Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing from Yale University in 2016 and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Quinnipiac University in 2012.
