Bryan Hannegan serves as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Holy Cross Energy since July 2017, overseeing operations and strategy for a $135 million electric cooperative utility. Previously, Bryan Hannegan held the position of Associate Laboratory Director at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory, where significant contributions were made in energy systems integration and high-performance computing. Prior roles include Vice President at the Electric Power Research Institute, where Bryan Hannegan managed a $50 million environmental research program, and key positions at the Executive Office of the President and the United States Senate, focusing on energy policy and environmental initiatives. Bryan Hannegan earned a Ph.D. in Earth System Science and holds degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Meteorology from UC Irvine and the University of Oklahoma, respectively.
