Avinash Samaroo is an experienced leader in vocational services with a background in community-based programming and quality assurance. Currently serving as the Director of Vocational Services at Community Based Services since July 2020, Avinash initiated a Community Based Pre Voc program aimed at enhancing workforce skills for individuals. Previous experience includes over 14 years at ARC of Rockland, where Avinash held the position of Assistant Director of Community Services, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations while overseeing employment services and supervising a team of 25 staff members. Avinash holds a Master of Business Administration from Iona University and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Binghamton University, complemented by an Associate's degree from Rockland Community College.
