Katie Rankin serves as the Associate Director of Communications at Communities In Schools (CIS) of Chicago since November 2019, previously holding the position of Communications Specialist within the same organization. Prior experience includes roles as Outreach Coordinator for The Bill Munday School of Business at St. Edward's University from May 2016 to September 2019, and as Publications and Promotions Coordinator and Communications Intern at Florida State University Career Center from January 2012 to May 2016. Additionally, Katie gained experience as a Digital Marketing and Public Relations Intern at RB Oppenheim Associates and as an Assistant Editor at INsite Magazine. Early career roles included internships at the Pensacola News Journal and Bella Magazine. Academic qualifications include a Master's Degree in Integrated Marketing Communication from Florida State University and a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism from the University of Florida.
