Atif Khan is a seasoned professional in AI and data science with extensive experience across various roles and organizations. Currently serving as Vice President of AI & Data Science at Messagepoint since November 2017, Atif oversees all research and development activities for the MARCIE AI platform. Simultaneously, as a Data Growth Coach at Communitech, strategic guidance is provided to local AI and tech startups in areas such as Big Data and software development. Atif's academic pursuits include a PhD candidacy at the University of Waterloo, specializing in Private Information Security via Artificial Intelligence. Previous roles include Chief Data Scientist and Lead Technical Architect at AllSight Intelligent 360, where oversight of data science activities and leadership of research initiatives were key responsibilities. With a strong foundation in software engineering, Atif has held various technical leadership positions, including J2EE Architect at Prinova and Team Lead at BlackBerry. Atif holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical & Computer Engineering from the University of New Brunswick.
