Veronica Bakouris is an accomplished analyst currently working at the Commonwealth Treasury since February 2022, focusing on Personal and Indirect Tax and Charities Division and previously in the Social Policy Division. Prior experience includes serving as Insights Editor at Young Australians in International Affairs, where editing and collaboration on Insight submissions were key responsibilities. Veronica has also worked as a Casual Sales Assistant at Bonds Kids and as a Casual Team Member at Kmart Australia Limited, excelling in customer service and teamwork. A former student intern at indigo foundation, Veronica contributed to policy development and project summaries. Educational achievements include a Bachelor of International Studies (Honours) and a Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of International Studies (Dean’s Scholar) with Distinction from the University of Wollongong, complemented by study abroad experiences in the UK and New Caledonia.
