Lucas Grainger-Brown is an experienced professional currently serving as Assistant Director and previously as Senior Policy Analyst in the Financial System Division at Commonwealth Treasury since October 2021. Prior to this role, Lucas worked as a Research Officer at the Parliament of Victoria from November 2020 to September 2021. Lucas's academic background includes a PhD in Political Science and Government from the University of Melbourne, where also a Teaching Associate and Business Analyst. Additional education comprises a Master's degree in Business/Commerce from UNSW and a Graduate Certificate in Chartered Accounting Foundations from Deakin University, alongside an Honors Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from the University of Melbourne. Prior to these roles, Lucas gained professional experience as a Management Consultant at EY from July 2013 to July 2015.
