Vlad Winter has a solid background in computer vision and deep learning research. Vlad is currently working as a Computer Vision and Deep Learning Researcher at CommonGround-AI since 2022. Prior to that, they worked at BeyondMinds from 2019 to 2021 as an Algorithm Researcher, where they designed and developed various computer vision projects and researched uncertainty and confidence estimation in ML/DL models. Vlad also developed in-house infrastructure, tools, and dashboards for models and systems performance. Before joining BeyondMinds, Vlad worked at Samsung Electronics in 2018 as part of the Image Processing Algorithms team. Vlad also gained experience in chip design and verification as a Chip Design and Verification Student at CEVA, Inc. from 2017 to 2018.

Vlad Winter completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Engineering at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, from 2014 to 2018. Following this, they pursued further education and obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science from the same university, from 2019 to 2021.
