Daniel Tucker

Daniel Tucker currently serves as the Arts in Society Research Network Chair at Common Ground Research Networks, where responsibilities include organizing an annual conference and editing a journal. With extensive experience in academia, Daniel has held positions as Associate Professor and Director of Socially Engaged Art and Fine Arts programs at Moore College of Art and Design, and briefly as an Associate Professor at The University of the Arts. Additional roles include Guest Curator at Haverford College and Curator at Mural Arts Philadelphia. Daniel's freelance work encompasses organizing, writing, and editing, contributing to numerous projects and exhibitions focused on social engagement and the arts. Education includes a Master of Fine Arts from the University of Illinois Chicago and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
