The Regional Vice Presidents team at the Committee of Interns and Residents/SEIU Healthcare is responsible for overseeing the regional operations, negotiating contracts, and advocating for the interests of resident physicians within their respective jurisdictions. They collaborate with local hospital administrations, engage with CIR members to address workplace concerns, and spearhead initiatives aimed at enhancing the quality of patient care and improving working conditions. Each Vice President focuses on the specific needs of their region, whether in California, New York, New Jersey, Florida, or the other areas represented by CIR.
