Dana C. has extensive experience in law enforcement, currently serving as the Deputy Chief of Police at Cape Coral Police Department since January 2000, where responsibilities include leading the Administrative Division and promoting strategies aligned with the department's vision and mission. Previous roles include Police Captain overseeing the Professional Standards Bureau, multiple Lieutenant positions focused on Patrol Bureau operations, Community Services Bureau development, and public affairs, and Detective Sergeant handling internal affairs and personnel matters. Dana C. also served as a Detective with the FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force and a School Resource Officer. In addition, Dana C. has been an Assessor for CALEA since October 2019, contributing to law enforcement accreditation standards. Earlier experience includes serving as a Police Officer with Fulton County Police from 1997 to 1999. Dana C. holds a BA in Political Science and History from Emory University.
