Aaron Smith began their career in 1998 as a Media Planner at Lois/EJL. In 1999, they moved to Starcom MediaVest Group as an Interactive Manager for Chevy. In 2005, they became Interactive/CRM Manager for HUMMER at General Motors. In 2007, they were promoted to Vice President- Interactive Marketing at Perich Advertising + Design. In 2008, they joined Mullen Advertising as a Digital Strategy Manager. In 2010, they moved to ES3 as V.P. Interactive Group. In 2011, they joined Team Detroit as V.P. Innovation & Mobile Strategy. In 2018, they co-founded Combustion, an improved agency methodology that applies new technology to solve marketing and operational problems through design thinking.
Aaron Smith attended Western Michigan University - Haworth College of Business from 1992 to 1997, where they studied Marketing and Economics.
