Prior roles include Senior Account Manager at ZTE Telecom Limited, Assistant General Manager at Subex, Senior Manager at Bharti Cellular Ltd, and Senior Sales Executive at Punwire Paging Company. Dr. Girotra holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Business Administration from Paris University of International Education and has completed a Post Graduate Diploma in International Business from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta. Additional educational qualifications include a Master's Degree in Sales and Marketing Management from the University of Mumbai and an Executive Program in Management from HKUST Business School.
