Leslie Uptain has extensive experience in education, currently serving as the Academic & Career Advisor at Davenport High School within the Comal Independent School District since July 2020. This role involves planning and implementing programs to prepare students for college and career opportunities. Prior to this, Leslie held various positions in the Comal Independent School District, including AVID & Student Leadership Teacher and Special Education Teacher at Canyon High School, where responsibilities included supporting first-generation students and managing special education needs. Previous experience includes significant roles at Texas A&M University, ranging from Associate Director overseeing student development and scholarship awarding to Program Coordinator for various scholarship programs. Leslie’s educational background includes a Master’s degree in Student Affairs Administration and a Bachelor's degree in International Studies from Texas A&M University.
