Jon Selwitz, PA-C is a recent graduate from MCPHS University Boston. Starting from a young age, he loved the idea of helping people in the medical field and becoming a PA was the perfect way of being able to deliver advanced level care with the patient being at the center. Beginning with his volunteer work with a mobile health van at Northeastern University during his undergrad, Jon began to form a passion for serving the clinical and social needs for underserved and homeless populations, many of which have fallen behind on their personal health and are subject to substance abuse. One of his favorite rotations during PA school was working inpatient psychiatry at Tufts Medical Center, where he saw first hand how optimizing one's mental health can lead to dramatic improvements in overall health. In his spare time you can find Jon hiking, camping, playing tennis, body surfing, attending live music shows, or just chilling with his guinea pig Latke. Jon is beyond excited to bring his skillset to help the many lives in MA with substance use and mental health disorders, and ultimately restore hope and happiness to many.
