Stephan Botha is a highly experienced Manager of Manufacturing & Execution Systems at Columbus Stainless, where since October 2010, leadership has encompassed a team of software and system engineers focused on developing and maintaining enterprise-wide MES systems. Responsibilities include defining business requirements for IT solutions, overseeing data collection and interpretation, and managing the company's data historization platform, AspenTech InfoPlus21. Recognized for significant achievements, Stephan led an engineering project that successfully modernized a critical communication interface while preserving two decades of optimization logic. Previous experience includes roles as Senior Simulation Design Engineer at Samahnzi and Project Manager at M-Tech Industrial, with a foundational Technical Control System Engineer position at Columbus Stainless. Stephan holds a B.Eng in Electronic Engineering from North-West University, earned from 1997 to 2000.
