Judit Karacsonyi, MD, PhD, currently serves as an Interventional Cardiology Fellow at Columbia University Irving Medical Center since July 2023. Prior to this role, Judit accumulated extensive experience as a Research Fellow at the Minneapolis Heart Institute Foundation from March 2020 to June 2023 and completed a residency and fellowship in Cardiology at the Division of Invasive Cardiology, Second Department of Internal Medicine and Cardiology Center, SZOTE from September 2012 to May 2019. Additionally, Judit contributed to research at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center and VA North Texas Healthcare System from September 2015 to September 2017. Academic qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) focused on New Aspects in Percutaneous Coronary Intervention of Chronic Total Occlusions from the University of Szeged, alongside a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree and a qualification as an English-Hungarian Medical Translator and Interpreter, both obtained from the University of Szeged.
