Emily Kao serves as the Advancement Director at Columbia Riverkeeper, a role focused on fundraising and promoting justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion within the organization since May 2018. Prior experience includes serving as the Donor Relations Manager, where strategies for donor retention and membership expansion were developed. Emily's background includes roles as Membership and Administrative Associate at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and Associate Editor at Envirogorge.com, among others in various capacities at Columbia Riverkeeper. Educational achievements include a Master of Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies from Carleton College.
