Cynthia Hardy has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Cynthia currently holds the position of SVP, Communications at Columbia Housing since 2020. Prior to this, Cynthia has worked as the Host & Executive Producer for "OnPoint with Cynthia Hardy" radio and TV shows since 2004. Cynthia is known for hosting award-winning weekly news talk shows and emceeing state and national special events. From 1990 to 2007, Cynthia served as the Vice President of Communications & Program Development at Columbia Urban League. Cynthia'sresponsibilities included managing a team of project directors, overseeing the agency's programs and budgets, and writing proposals for funding. Cynthia began their career at WBRC TV as a Senior Staff Reporter from 1982 to 1988.

Cynthia Hardy attended Columbia College (SC) from 1994 to 1998, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Language and Literature/Letters.
