Jonathan Chao is an experienced music educator currently serving as an Elementary Music Teacher at Columbia Heights Public Schools since August 2019, specializing in PreK-5 music. Previous roles include Music Specialist at Roseville Area Schools and two student teaching positions in instrumental and general music at Edina High School and Little Canada Elementary School. Additional experience includes ushering at Northrop Auditorium, where Jonathan welcomed patrons and assisted with event logistics, and serving as a peer advisor and section leader at the University of Minnesota, guiding new students through their college transition. Jonathan also managed the Campus Band and worked as a server for elderly residents at Edina Park Plaza. Jonathan holds a Bachelor of Music in Music Education with an Instrumental Focus from the University of Minnesota.
