Melissa Coquelin possesses extensive experience in biomedical research and engineering, currently serving as an Associate Scientist on the Mammoth Genome Engineering Team at Colossal Biosciences since June 2022. Prior roles include Senior Research Associate II at ReCode Therapeutics, where responsibilities involved supporting pre-clinical research and leading training for research technicians from February 2017 to June 2022. Melissa's earlier experience encompasses positions at UT Southwestern Medical Center, Leinco Technologies, Washington University in St. Louis, Texas Tech University, and other institutions, contributing to various research projects in lipid nanoparticle technologies, tissue decellularization, and behavior studies in animal models. Melissa holds a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis and a B.S. in Mathematics from Rhodes College.
