Elizabeth Schmidt, MA, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, currently serves as an Adjunct Professor at Colorado Technical University since July 2024, bringing extensive experience in human resources. Previously, Elizabeth held the position of Chief People Officer at Laradon from August 2021 to July 2024 and was a Senior Manager, HR Business Partner at Rise Broadband from September 2020 to September 2021. Other notable roles include Regional HR Business Partner at Avis Budget Group and HR Director at Hammersmith®. Elizabeth's expertise encompasses talent and performance management, employee relations, management coaching, and workforce analytics. In addition to a successful HR career, Elizabeth has entrepreneurial experience as a Small Business Owner and has managed human resources operations at Hound Ears Club and Meadowbrook Inn. Elizabeth is currently pursuing a Doctor of Psychology in Organizational Leadership, having previously earned a Master’s in I/O Psychology and Human Resources Management and a Bachelor’s in Psychology and Statistics.
