Allan Long has extensive experience in event management and sports administration, currently serving as the Director of Event Services-Ice Hall at The Broadmoor World Arena since October 2005, where responsibilities include overseeing daily operations. Prior to this role, Allan was the Director of Merchandising and Team Travel for the Durham Bulls Baseball Club from March 1997 to September 2005. Earlier career highlights include an internship and graduate assistant position in the Sports Information Department at Wichita State University from January 1991 to May 1994, and competing as a professional golfer on various U.S. tours from June 1989 to December 1990. Allan holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication from the University of Arizona and a Master of Education in Sports Administration from Wichita State University.
