Ellis A. is an experienced news reporter currently leading state-politics and legislative coverage for Colorado Community Media since June 2017. In this role, Ellis A. reports on various topics including local government, education, business, crime, and community events. Previously, from January to June 2017, Ellis A. served as the editor in chief of CU Independent, where oversight included investigative reporting on diversity and race relations at the University of Colorado Boulder. Prior internships at The Denver Post and Daily Camera provided experience in reporting on city government and community events. Ellis A. holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism from the University of Colorado Boulder, completed in 2017.
