Louie Matos is an experienced machinist currently serving as a First Class Outside Machinist at Colonna's Shipyard since June 2018, with a background that includes working at Shipyard Staffing and General Dynamics NASSCO-Norfolk. At General Dynamics NASSCO-Norfolk from June 2010 to June 2014, Louie Matos was involved in the overhaul of reduction gears for several vessels, including the Fort McHenry, the Tortuga, and the Whidbey Island. Louie Matos holds an Associate degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology from ECPI University, completed between 2016 and 2017, and is currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in the same field.
