Quoc Nguyen DAO has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Quoc Nguyen is currently a University Lecturer at VNUK | The University of Danang since February 2023. Prior to this, they served as a Chief Finance and Risk Officer (CFRO) at Collinson from July 2019 onwards.
From March 2016 to June 2019, Quoc worked as a Global Account Executive at Solera, Inc. Before joining Solera, Inc., they held the position of Director, Financial Services Advisory at PwC from July 2010 to March 2016.
Quoc has also gained valuable experience in the insurance sector, having worked for BNP Paribas Cardif as Group Head of Risk from 2006 to 2010, and as Group Head of ALM and Strategic Asset Allocation from 2000 to 2006.
Quoc Nguyen began their career in 1996 as an Actuary at AXA and later became an Actuarial Manager at MMA Assurances from 1998 to 2000. Overall, Quoc Nguyen DAO has a diverse professional background with expertise in finance, risk management, and actuarial analysis.
Quoc Nguyen DAO earned a Master's degree in Statistics and Actuarial Science from Sorbonne Université from 1994 to 1997. Later, from 1998 to 1999, they pursued a Master's degree in Economics and Finance from Université Paris Cité. Finally, they completed an MBA in General Management from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business from 2010 to 2012. In addition, they hold certifications as an Affiliate Actuary from the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries and as a Qualified Actuary from the Institut des Actuaires.
