Eric Carney is an accomplished engineer with extensive experience in aerospace and defense industries, currently serving as Program Chief Engineer at Collins Aerospace since November 2016. In this role, Eric oversees the full life cycle development of high-value products in the HUMS value stream portfolio, including the E-Brake and General Actuation systems, and has developed complex proposals and bid narratives. Previously, Eric held positions at Naval Air Systems Command, where responsibilities included integration and risk management of engineering systems, and at EDO and Emcore, focusing on pilot-vehicle interfaces and advanced materials for semiconductor development. Eric holds a Master of Science in Engineering/Industrial Management from Clarkson University and a Master of Engineering in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Maryland, complemented by a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace/Mechanical Engineering from Clarkson University.
