Dr. Susan O’Toole, B.Sc., MD, FRSCS is the President of the Medical Staff Association. She completed medical school and residency in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario. She became a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in 2004.
After completing her training, she provided locum coverage for 3 years prior to completing a 6-month mission with Doctors Without Borders in Sri Lanka.
She joined the medical staff of Collingwood General and Marine Hospital in 2008. She has served as the Chief of the Maternal Child Committee and sits on the Surgical Services Committee, as well as the Surgical Site Infection Prevention Committee.
Susan is the Colposcopy Lead for CGMH and is dedicated to supporting the goal of Canada for the elimination of cervical cancer in Canada by 2040.
Susan is currently the Vice President of the Simcoe County Branch of the OMA.
