Dr. Natasha Pitt has extensive experience in education, starting as a Middle School Social Studies Teacher in Norfolk Public Schools from 2003 to 2005. Dr. Natasha then worked in Virginia Beach City Public Schools, where they held various roles including High School Social Studies Teacher, School Improvement Specialist, Assistant Principal Intern, and Assistant Principal from 2005 to 2014. In 2014, they joined Teaneck Public Schools as an Assistant Principal, and later became a School Principal in 2015, a position they held until 2023. Currently, Dr. Pitt serves as the Director of Talent Acquisition and Development at College Achieve Public Schools.
Dr. Natasha Pitt pursued their education at various institutions. Dr. Natasha obtained a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) degree from Seton Hall University from 2021 to 2023. Prior to that, they earned a Masters in Education and Human Development from The George Washington University between 2006 and 2008. Dr. Natasha completed their undergraduate studies at Hunter College from 1998 to 2002, obtaining a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Political Science and Secondary Education. Dr. Pitt's education journey began at Brooklyn Technical High School. Additionally, they hold several certifications related to educational leadership from various state departments of education.
