Ryan S. has worked in the IT field since 2003. Ryan's first position was as a Tech Support for Sento, where they supported McAfee Products and Brightmail Anti-Spam. In 2005, they moved to Overstock.com as a Linux Systems Engineer/DevOps Engineer, where they deployed and managed software such as Apache, PHP, MySQL, and Nagios. In 2012, Ryan began working for Xactware as a Web Systems Administrator, where they engineered RedHat Kickstart operating system imaging for RedHat Enterprise Linux and CentOS. Ryan also began working for Alianza, Inc. as an IT Consultant, where they engineered and deployed OpenVPN, Graylog, Syslog, GestioIP, RANCID, and TeamPass solutions. In 2015, Ryan began working for Collective Medical a PointClickCare Company as an IT Operations Principal Engineer and IT Manager, where they managed Linux, Windows, and Cisco and Dell hardware, and maintained network firewalls and switching/routing. Ryan also began working for Wallsburg Farms as an IT Consultant, where they installed and configured pfSense (FreeBSD 10.1) and re-configured the network to isolate internal segment.
