Larry Schmidt has extensive experience in legal and military operations, currently serving as the Assistant Adjutant General at the Utah Attorney General's Office since May 2018, where responsibilities include assisting veterans with legal matters such as SCRA and immigration. Additionally, Larry functions as a Federal Cooperative Agreement Instructor for Colleague Consulting, LLC and Broadleaf, Inc., training public employees on federal assistance management. With a long-standing military career, Larry has held significant leadership positions including Commander of the Utah State Defense Force and Chief Financial Officer for the Utah National Guard. Educational achievements include a Master of Strategic Studies from The United States Army War College, a Doctor of Law from Cooley Law School, and a Bachelor of Arts from Southern Utah University. Larry also founded Clerisy LLC, focused on regulatory compliance training for public employees managing federal funds.
