Joni Carlton has a diverse work experience in the field of engineering and project coordination. In 2005, they began their career at Northrop Grumman as a Project Coordinator, where they worked until 2008. Following this, they joined KeyW Corporation as a Configuration Manager for three years. In 2011, Joni joined CollabraSpace first as a System Engineer until 2018, and then as a Systems Engineer with no specified end date.

Joni Carlton earned a Bachelor's Degree in Biology, General from Towson University, which they attended from 2002 to 2004. Later, they pursued a Master's Degree in Management Information Systems, General from the University of Maryland Global Campus, where they studied from 2017 to 2020. Additionally, Joni obtained several certifications including CLOUD Essentials Certification in September 2013, Certified SCRUM Master in November 2011, CompTIA Network+ in April 2019, and Certified SAFe® 4 Scrum Master in December 2018.
