She holds a Master of Arts degree with distinction in Communication for Social and Behaviour Change from the University of the West Indies, Mona campus, Jamaica; a Bachelor of Arts degree Magna Cum Laude in Communication with an English minor from the College of St. Benedict, St. Joseph, Minnesota, USA and an Associate of Arts degree in Journalism/Mass Communication with credit from the College, now University, of The Bahamas, Oakes Field Campus on New Providence Island, The Bahamas.
