Lauren Albrecht MPH, MLS is an experienced professional in the healthcare and laboratory sectors, currently serving as the Surveys Team Leader at COLA Inc. since May 2017. In this role, Lauren manages a team of surveyors focused on educational surveys to ensure laboratories comply with CLIA and COLA standards, while also providing expertise on regulatory requirements. Additionally, Lauren is contracted as the OSAM Youngstown Regional Epidemiologist with the Ohio Department of Mental Health & Addiction Services, conducting qualitative interviews to analyze substance abuse trends. Lauren's background includes roles as a Medical Laboratory Scientist in a trauma center blood bank and various positions in laboratory settings, supported by a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology and a Medical Technology degree.
