Mary O'Brien has extensive experience in the field of GIS and administration, holding various positions since 1997. Currently working at Coillte as a Recreation and Trails Officer and GIS Analyst since January 1998, Mary has also served as an HR Admin Assistant at Select Appointments and an Admin Assistant at the Department of Aged Care. Earlier, Mary worked as a GIS Analyst at Dairygold Food Ingredients. Educationally, Mary is pursuing a Higher Diploma in Applied Remote Sensing and GIS from Maynooth University, while also holding a Diploma in Office Information Systems from HSI Business School and a Bachelor of Arts in Geography and Psychology, alongside a Diploma in Field Ecology, both from University College Cork. Mary completed secondary education at St. Annes Convent in Tipperary Town, Ireland.
