Jean Mitchell has a diverse work experience in the field of institutional giving and foundation relations. Jean began their career at the Irving Arts Center in 1997 as a Grants/Programs Supervisor. Jean then worked at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center as a Program Coordinator for Institutional Grants. In 2007, they joined Save the Children US as a Director of Foundations and Trusts. Jean Mitchell then moved on to the Cornell Lab of Ornithology as a Foundation Relations Director. From 2015 to 2020, they served as the Director of Institutional Giving at SeriousFun Children's Network.
