Kristen Hambleton has held a variety of positions in the healthcare and engineering industries since 2003. Kristen began their career as a Clinical Work Study Internship at the University of Guelph, Ridgetown Campus. From 2005 to 2007, they were a Landscape Architect, Urban Planning and Civil Engineering (Junior Project Manager) at Tetra Tech. Kristen then moved to EDA Collaborative Inc. as a Landscape Architect, Urban Planning and Civil Engineering (Mid-Level Project Manager) from 2007 to 2011. In 2011, they became a Hospital Job Shadow/Intern for Orthopedic Surgery at Island Hospital. From 2013 to 2017, they were a Project Manager III at MEPS Real-Time, Inc. During this time, they worked on a technology vision that Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) would be a valuable tool for medications distributed from hospital pharmacies to patients. Kristen then moved to CenTrak as a Technical Account Manager (TAM) from 2017 to 2020. Most recently, they have been a RTLS Systems Administrator at University of Utah Health since 2020 and a RTLS Technical Program Manager Healthcare at Cognosos, Inc. since 2021.
Kristen Hambleton obtained a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture / Engineering / Urban Planning (Honours) from the University of Guelph between 2001 and 2005. Additionally, they hold a Salesforce Administration Essentials certification obtained in 2013.
