Mako Sawano currently serves as the Managing Director and COO of Cognizant in Japan, a position held since April 2021. Prior to this role, Mako Sawano was a Board Director at Mynet Inc. from January 2018 to March 2021. Mako's extensive experience includes significant leadership positions at DXC Technology and its predecessor companies from June 2006 to October 2017, including Director and COO of Japan and roles as Board Director and Senior Manager. Mako began a career in management consulting at A.T. Kearney from June 2002 to June 2006. Educationally, Mako holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Precision Engineering from Kanazawa University, earned between 1986 and 1991.
