Haley Seymour has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Haley started their career as a Retail Sales Associate at Nordstrom in 2013 and later returned to the company in 2014. During their time at Nordstrom, they gained experience in customer service and sales.
In 2013, Haley also worked as an Athletic Training Student at Santa Ana College. Here, they primarily worked with the football team, providing coverage and rehabilitation for soccer, track, and baseball athletes. Haley assisted the team physician and coordinated staff for home and away games.
In 2014, Haley continued their athletic training experience at Valencia High School. Haley worked with various sports teams, including track, soccer, volleyball, lacrosse, baseball, and softball. Haley evaluated on-field acute injuries and managed chronic injuries while developing rehabilitation programs.
Haley briefly worked as a Retail Sales Associate at Nordstrom again in 2014 before joining the Sports Concussion Institute as an Athletic Training Student/Intern in 2014. At the institute, they assisted with administering baseline concussion assessments to schools in Orange and LA County. Haley also lectured high school athletes on concussion information and practiced interpreting test results.
Starting in 2015, Haley worked at Seattle Children's as an Athletic Trainer in the Orthopedics and Sports Medicine Clinic. Haley collaborated closely with Primary Care Sports Medicine physicians and played a key role in building a larger team of Athletic Trainers. Additionally, Haley served as the High School Athletic Trainer for The Bush School, where they were responsible for creating and implementing policies and procedures, educating coaches, parents, and athletes on sports medicine and concussions, and providing daily services to athletes.
During this time, Haley also worked as a CPR Program Lead, organizing CPR classes for the community and running monthly team meetings. Haley also served as a Cystic Fibrosis Exercise Specialist, providing physical activity evaluation, education, and counseling to patients in the Cystic Fibrosis clinic.
In 2015, Haley joined the medical staff at the Peter Fewing Soccer Camp. Haley provided medical assistance and support to camp participants.
Starting in 2018, Haley worked at SkillStorm as a Talent Developer, delivering high-quality training in custom curriculum. Haley taught SAP and full-stack development to prepare candidates for job-readiness. Haley also conducted technical and soft skill interviews, developed and improved curricula, and led quality assurance initiatives.
Haley's most recent work experience is as a Front End Engineer at Cognitiv, starting in 2023.
Haley Seymour completed their education with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Athletic Training/Trainer from Chapman University, where they studied from 2011 to 2015. Haley also attended Roosevelt High School from 2007 to 2011, but no specific degree or field of study was mentioned for their high school education.
