Simen Lilleeng has a strong background in software engineering and development. Simen began their career as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Bergen in 2013. Following this, they worked as a Senior Developer at Snapsale AS from August 2014 to January 2017. Currently, Simen is employed as a Principal Software Engineer at Cognite AS, starting in February 2017.

Simen Lilleeng completed their education in the field of computer science and mathematics. From 2008 to 2009, they attended Universitetet i Tromsø and studied Discrete Mathematics as a single course. In 2009, they started their undergraduate studies at the University of Bergen (UiB) and graduated in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Mathematics. Simen then pursued further education at the University of Bergen and obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Computer Science from 2012 to 2014. Additionally, in September 2014, they obtained a certification in Machine Learning from Coursera.
