Gideon Shaanan serves as an Adjunct Professor of Technology Entrepreneurship at New Mexico Tech University Research Park Corporation since August 2023 and as an Executive Advisor at Cognician since October 2020. With extensive experience in organizational entrepreneurship, Gideon has been involved with Osenti since November 2007, providing consulting and participating in various ventures locally and internationally. Gideon has also served on the Board of Directors for FishWise since February 2013 and co-founded Click My Cause, serving as Chief Technology Officer from July 2017 to August 2022. As a lecturer at UC Santa Cruz from 2011 to September 2013, Gideon developed the Entrepreneurship Studies Initiative and the UCSC Entrepreneurship Showcase. Other roles include Collaborative Methods Advisor at FHR & JWPOSD, CTO and VP of Products at U3, Consultant at Catalyst Strategies, and Sr. Director of R&D & CTO at Alchemedia. Gideon earned an MS in Engineering from Cornell University and a BS in Engineering from Technion - Israel Institute of Technology.
