Maria Sharp has a diverse work experience, beginning in 2005 at 21 Choices Frozen Yogurt as a Yogurt Chef/Supervisor. In 2007, they worked at Applebees as a Customer Service Expo, Host, and Server. From 2014 to 2016, they were an Operations Administrative Coordinator at Family Alliance for Counseling Tools & Resolution (FACTR). In 2016, they were the Open House/Public Relations Committee Lead at Cupertino Co-Op Nursery School. From 2017 to 2019, they were the Auction Chair at Ventana School and a Representative for Cupertino Co-Op Nursery School at SANTA CLARA VALLEY COUNCIL OF PARENT PARTICIPATION Nursery Schools. Maria was also an Intermittent Spanish Substitute Teacher Elementary at Ventana Vista Elementary School from 2019 to 2021. Most recently, they have been an Office Manager at Coggno since 2021.

Maria Sharp obtained their Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Ethnic Women's Studies from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona in 2011. Maria also holds an Associate of Arts (AA) in Language Arts and Communications from Mt. San Antonio College, as well as an Associate's degree in Social and Behavioral Studies from the same institution. In 2014, they obtained a Mediation certification from Joseph L. Naegele.
